Christine Chu, MBA 14
Net Impact Co-VP of Nonprofit & Public Leadership


Christine ChuChristine is a first-year MBA-MPH (Masters in Public Health) student focusing on healthcare technology innovation. Prior to Haas, Christine worked as an IT consultant and, most recently, as a project manager at healthcare software company, providing SaaS solutions for pharmaceutical and medical device companies.  Having volunteered throughout her life with various organizations, Christine was previously involved as an Event Manager and Fundraising Lead with the San Francisco One Brick chapter, which provides support to local non-profit and community organizations.  At Haas, Christine is co-President of the Haas Wine Industry Club and Haas Culinary Club and serves as a team lead for a Social Sector Solutions consulting project with the Coalition for Compassionate Care of California.  Christine also holds leadership positions in the Haas Healthcare Association and Challenge For Charity (C4C).  Christine holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

 

Alma Rico, MBA 14
Net Impact Co-VP of Nonprofit & Public Leadership


Alma RicoAlma is a first-year MBA student focusing on Nonprofit and Public Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Before joining the Haas community, Alma worked as a consultant at PA Consulting Group in Washington, DC, where she analyzed complex strategic challenges for government and defense clients. As a longtime volunteer in youth education initiatives, she became inspired to merge her business experience with her passion for lifting academic achievement among low-income children and minorities. At Haas, she serves as a Board Fellow for Leadership High School and is a team lead for a Social Sector Solutions consulting project with the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley. She is a co-founder of Young Education Professionals-Bay Area and served as a volunteer teacher with Citizen Schools. Alma holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT
